There’s an awful lot of material in the Lagoon Report<\/em>, and it can be hard to get your feet on the ground. \u00a0There are a few ways to get started:<\/p>\n

1. \u00a0Search.<\/strong> \u00a0There’s a search field in the upper right-hand corner of every page. \u00a0Simply punch in your search criteria like beaver<\/a> or Third St.<\/a> or Jimmy Jones<\/a>\u00a0and you’ll probably find what you’re looking for.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0Individual reports. \u00a0<\/strong>Lagoon Reports, and other special reports can be found in the menus at the top of every page, going right back to the very first Lagoon Report<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Featured categories.<\/strong> \u00a0In development are new featured categories<\/a>, thematic collections of photography from all over the Lagoon Report <\/em>that show just the good stuff, omitting a lot of the imagery that’s only of interest ‘at the time’.<\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Specific categories.<\/strong> \u00a0To the right of most pages is a menu called All Image Categories<\/strong>. \u00a0It’s a huge menu, but contains every single category of imagery. \u00a0Scrolling through it will let you find all the imagery related to wild peacocks<\/a>, or mink<\/a>, and everything else under the Island sun.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0Equipment tags.<\/strong> \u00a0Every single photograph is tagged with the equipment used, such as the camera, lens, and auxiliary triggers. \u00a0This can all be found in the metadata<\/em> displayed under each image, and will let you find all images taken with the venerable Nikon Coolpix 4500<\/a>, or the Canon EF 50mm f\/1.4<\/a>, or any of the other myriad of equipment used in the production of the Lagoon Report.<\/em><\/p>\n
