Firemen sandbag a sewage pumping station, to help protect it not only from the rising flood waters but also from boat wakes that run right across Cibola Ave. Never have the words no wake please had more meaning.
Because of your posting, I spoke with the Toronto Ports Harbour Master and requested NO WAKE signs be posted at the Hazard White Buoys at the Eastern Gap (& elswhere) as a deterrent to speedy water vessels creating waves effecting the Islands. We spoke about the Harbour and Lagoon Wake and risks to Island buildings etc. ….no signs yet,…
